Jurnal Ilmiah Kajian Ilmu Sosial dan Budaya is an open-access scholarly journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The journal is committed to providing free and unrestricted access to scientific knowledge in the fields of social sciences and cultural studies.

The journal currently does not charge any submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or publication fees. Authors may submit and publish their manuscripts free of charge.

The operational activities of the journal, including editorial management, peer-review administration, website maintenance, and publication services, are supported by the publisher and institutional resources of LPPM Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai.

Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by any financial considerations. The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, academic integrity, and ethical publishing practices in accordance with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
