Screening Plagiarism
Jurnal Ilmiah Kajian Ilmu Sosial dan Budaya is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ethical publication practices. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process.
To ensure the originality of published works, the journal utilizes plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin and/or iThenticate. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted manuscripts are original and that all sources are properly acknowledged and cited.
Plagiarism Policy
- Manuscripts must be original and must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
- All ideas, data, figures, tables, quotations, and other materials derived from external sources must be appropriately cited and referenced.
- Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and data falsification, constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
- The similarity index of submitted manuscripts should not exceed 20%, excluding references, direct quotations, and standard methodological expressions.
- Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism will be rejected by the editorial board.
- If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and take appropriate corrective action in accordance with publication ethics standards.
Author Responsibility
Authors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic honesty and publication ethics. Authors bear full responsibility for the originality, authenticity, and accuracy of the content submitted to the journal.
